B-CC Fall 2021 Triple Play Weekend:


What is "Triple Play Weekend"? Triple Play Weekend (TPW) is a long-running squadron tradition. Typically held twice a year, in the spring and fall, it is a weekend-long outdoor camping event with activities encompassing Civil Air Patrol's 3 missions: Cadet Programs, Aerospace Education, and Emergency Services. Here cadets will have the opportunity to participate in exciting activities that cannot be conducted at a regular squadron meeting, while learning more about CAP's missions and bonding with fellow cadets. The event will conclude with a family picnic on Sunday.. 

When: 1830 hours (6:30 pm) Friday, 15 October - 1300 hours(1:00 pm) Sunday, 17 October

>Arrival and sign-in will be 1800-1830 hours Friday evening.

>On Sunday, the activity will conclude with a family picnic. Family and friends are welcome. Please indicate number of guests attending in registration form (link below). 

>We highly encourage cadets to come even if they are not able to attend the entire weekend. If attending for only part of the weekend, please indicate this upon registration for our planning purposes.

>Map of area can be found at the link to the right. When entered into a GPS or navigational aids, the above address will take you to the corner of Snouffer School Road and Turkey Thicket Drive. Note that this corner is NOT your destination. You will need to turn onto Turkey Thicket Drive and continue up the road highlighted in red on attached map. This road will dead end at our campsite. 

Cost: $25 per person, cash or check made payable to "Civil Air Patrol" (if not staying the entire weekend, cost is $5 per meal) 

>Payment is due on your arrival to the activity, though prior payment is preferred. Payment can be given to our Finance Officer, Capt Jocelyn Santos. All submitted checks must have name of attendee(s) in memo.


>Those in need of financial assistance should contact Capt Santos (jocelyn.santos@montgomerycountymd.gov) to make arrangements. 

>Cost for those not staying for the entire activity is $5 per meal.

>For cadets missing gear such as sleeping bags, sleeping pads, tents, etc. the squadron has a limited number available for loan on a first come, first serve basis

Additional Notes: 

>Please eat dinner before you arrive on Friday as only snacks will be served that evening. 

>Cell phones and cameras are the only electronics that cadets are permitted to bring. 


>Both male and female senior members will be present for the entirety of the activity. 


>Squadron Discipline Policy will be strictly enforced. Parents of cadets in violation of the discipline policy will contacted to bring their cadet(s) home immediately.
